To our collective surprise and amazement my baby girl learned how to climb over the side of her crib and exit her room all on her own, last night.
Jordan, Christi, and myself were sitting in the master bedroom watching TV when we heard a commotion coming from the baby's bedroom. Jordan looked back concerned that something strange or supernatural was happening and I figured that it was probably the baby. And within a few seconds I heard more commotion down the hallway. I opened the door, and looked down the hallway, and there, was Gabriella running down the hallway toward the kitchen looking for us.
In her baby language she explained that she had overcome the crib barrier and had exited with little or no pain. She fell on her "Butt".
It would've been funny and wonderful except that we were all in great need for an early bedtime. But, it seemed as though that wouldn't happen. So, for the rest of the night our baby escaped from her room, crawled in bed with Jordan twice and did her very best to stay awake all night long.

I think I only was able to sleep two contiguous hours the whole night long. Christi was receiving her healing from a cold and I was the designated nurse, doctor, dog walker and Daddy. I would take the dog out to "pee" and meet up with Gabriella who was walking around the house.
At one time we heard noises from the play room. When I left to look at what was going on I found all the lights on in that part of the house and Gabriella was cooking on her play stove. When I asked her what was going on, she turned to me and simply said "I cooking".
